I am a PhD researcher at Monash University, working on understanding how artificial intelligence is shaping energy transitions across diverse geographies.
My current research focuses on the directionality of innovation in artificial intelligence for energy transitions. I use patent analytics, innovation studies, and sustainability transitions perspectives to examine where AI-related energy innovations are emerging, who is shaping them, and which transition pathways they may reinforce or redirect.
Prior to my PhD, I worked across sustainability, public policy, evidence reviews, digital health, innovation policy, and development research. My broader interests include science, technology and innovation policy, geography of innovation, climate governance, and transitions in the Global South.
